Looks like the space shuttle orbiter Atlantis was pretty lucky. It encountered what NASA calls the largest MMOD (micro-meteor/orbiting debris) event so far. Fortunately, only a flesh wound. If it had hit a critical cooling loop things would have been gotten scary real fast. A hit like that during astronaut EVA isn't a pleasant thought.
